North District would like all referee schedulers to remember that only registered game officials can be used to referee. All clubs within North District are required to register all Level 4 and higher game officials with BCSA.

Under BCSA Rules & Regulation Rule 18 Section c:

  •  No person shall officiate as a referee in any competition under the sanction or jurisdiction of the Association who is not on the official list of the Association, but if for unforeseen circumstances a referee on the official list is unable to act, the teams affected shall agree on some other person in the emergency.
  • For refereeing of  mini games U6 - U10  please use Level 5 referees. For U11 - U18 & Metro please use Level 4 or higher referees.
