The NDGSA Competitive League
is made up of A and AA male and female teams from 9 to 18 and senior that play against other teams in the Concordia region.
The programs operate on a full year basis.
Practices are held at local parks/gyms and games are played throughout the city.
The champion teams at the end of the season participate in a province-wide championship against teams from other regional sports associations.
The Concordia Regional Soccer Association has selected NDGSA as one of the 5 clubs in the region to develop women’s AA soccer teams.
The Fédération de soccer du Québec (FSQ) manages an elite AAA league the Ligue du soccer élite du québec (LSEQ) for players15 and over.
NDGSA is proud to support 4 AAA teams for 2018.
Contact the Competitive General Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
The Summer Program
runs from mid April to mid September, except for AA teams that qualify for the provincial championships.
Following the registration period that ends in February, the teams are formed in March, after try-outs and selection by the coaches.
The summer season consists of 2 practices and at least 1 game per week. In addition, many of our teams play in summer tournaments to add to the fun.
The Winter Program
runs from November to April with a weekly practice and an opportunity to play in the Concordia Regional Soccer Association’s winter league.
The NDGSA Competitive Philosophy
We believe a strong and successful program starts with the coaches. Our coaches are there to bring out the best of each player in a competitive and fun atmosphere. Training is the key.
Every coach has obtained their coaching certificates from the FSQ. In addition, the coaches and players are supported by NDGSA’s strong technical staff under the direction of Mahfoud Tahri, Technical Director and his assistants.
